When my husband and I first started out in the industry, we had barely anything to get by on. I saw an ad posted from a business that was looking for someone to come in and clean the floors at night when the store was closed. I talked to my husband and we decided to go in on the cleaning as a team. That was our first job together are our company grew from there. Now my husband owns a general contracting firm and I am the owner of the clean-up crew that comes in to clean up after all of the work has been done. We share the tools and equipment like the air compressor and the pressure washer, but we each have our own separate company and separate income that we manage. It is like having the best of both worlds. I never dreamed we would be successful business owners.
